The Wall means :


Destruction of homes, of fields, of lifes. Lifes... not only because they even destroy homes with people in them, but because a "house" is a HOME. A place with memories. walls with marks of pictures, of the growth marks of kids. A home is a place with memories. A place to feel secure. A place much more important in a country regularly Bombed, with its neighborhood destroyed. A palestinian home, is like a raft in middle of a tempest, to let these homes being demolished is playing the role of wind blowing nothingness.


The Wall means to cut a farmer from his field, as the Israeli Occupation doesn't recognize the title deeds of palestinian's properties, and traces its plan discarding Palestinians, cuts through villages, cissors the socio-economical tissue .


The Wall means humiliating "gates" to go to work, (even from one point of West Bank to another), everybody, even ambulances, NGO, needs coordinations before, and permits, everything is a struggle. When they don't control the quantity of olives you may take with you, for the day, the israeli Occupying Forces doesn't hesitate to use physical attacks, forced removal of clothes.

(Attention : the numbers must be adapted to 2009, as the document is no more super fresh news, but relevant is the fact that the kind of harassement, the situation, doesn't change. Like everything concerning Palestinians, it can be said that it's just getting worse, as IMPUNITY gives a BLANK CHEQUE to Israelis Occupying Forces to continue its policy, harm, kill, do as it pleases !)


The Wall, its existence, the fact it's still standing, worse, continues to be constructed, is a BLATANT sign, blatant as a brick, as lot of cement - denied to Gazans - Blatant sign of violation of human rights, international human law, and more general : International Law

The Wall is something SAD, something horrible, terrible, shamefull

Even for people without any HeArt, the Wall is Bad :

On July 9 2004, the ICJ ruled that:

- the construction of the Wall in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is illegal and that Israel must cease construction, dismantle the Wall and to make reparations for the damage caused

- no state may aid or assist the maintenance of the Wall and its regime and all states parties to the IV Geneva Convention are obliged to ensure compliance by Israel with international humanitarian law

Le 9 juillet 2009, la Cour Internationale de Justice décréta que :

- la construction du Mur dans les territoires occupés de Cijordanie, y compris Jérusalem Est, est illégale et qu'Israël doit cesser sa construction, démanteler le Mur et s'acquitter de réparations pour les dommages causés.

- aucun Etat doit aider ou porter assistance à la maintenance de ce Mur et de son régime, et que toutes les Etats parties des Conventions de Genève IV sont obligées d'assurer le respect par Israël des droit humanitaire international.



July 9th 2009, it will be 5 years, the fifth anniversary of the decision of the International Court of Justice calling for the dismantling of the Wall.
